Principal's Update
Hāwera Christian School includes the best of family-centred rural schooling with positive Christian relationships. A great place to belong! One of the School's Mission objectives is 'to teach our children to know the wonder of God including His all encompassing creation and the wonder of each child's unique place in God's purpose'.
Hāwera Christian school relocated in December 2012 and is now on the Tokaora site. We have a free bus run and the best of both worlds as the school has a rural feel but is only 4km out of Hāwera. The Proprietors and Iwi are currently investigating ways to enable permanent security of tenure of this site.
Our South Taranaki COL objectives are to promote digital fluency and recognise the importance of culture in academic success.
We look forward to another year of school events such as camp and pet day.
